Anxiety
Anxiety can be a helpful emotional state when it comes to doing something new or a task with a high level of pressure and stress (such as writing an exam, heading out on a first date or preparing for a job interview.) However, for some folks anxiety does not have an obvious cause or it rarely goes away. Anxiety reaches the level of a clinical disorder when one experiences challenges in completing day to day tasks due to the anxiety. Our therapists are trained in evidence based approaches for the treatment of anxiety disorders.
